Review by Kathy Parsons
"Daydreamer" is the third single from Matias Bacoñsky's upcoming album, New World (expected January 2025), the third in a series of albums that began with When The World Ends (2018) followed by Epochal (2021). Just to summarize very briefly, the first album was about a man preparing for the world to end, and in the second one, the man has survived and is searching for other survivors. By the end of that album, the has found his wife alive and well and has reunited with her. This very intense story continues in New World with hope, set-backs, and an inspiring tribute to the human spirit. I have loved all of the music so far, and look forward to hearing the full third installment soon. The music is performed on piano with a huge orchestra and choir that give it a powerful cinematic sweep. Even without any visuals, the music tells the story (with some narrative in the liner notes) in such a way that it is easy to vividly picture and imagine.

"Daydreamer" is available from Amazon, Apple/iTunes and streaming platforms including Spotify. Don't miss it!
