It has been much, much too long since we have had any new music from pianist/composer Michael Dulin, and I'm thrilled to be able to say that he is finally back in action with lots of new music coming! His first new release is a single called "Winter Moon." Most of this beautiful piece is solo piano with short passages with cello near the middle and end of the piece. The lower half of the piano is played very quietly while the upper half is clear and crisp - contrasts that feel similar to a soft blanket of freshly-fallen snow and the icy sparkles of moonlight dancing on its surface. Very peaceful with a touch of magic, it's a beautiful comeback from one of my very favorite artists!
