I kept a list of all of my favorite albums over the course of the year, listing them in the order I reviewed them. I intended to make the list a Top 20 or 25 since I reviewed 121 albums, but I just couldn’t cut any of these. It was another great year for new music! These are not ranked except that my two favorites for the year were Neil Patton’s Between Shadow and Light (ALBUM OF THE YEAR!!!) and Eric Tingstad’s Mississippi. I also want to mention my favorite new piece of music of the year as the duet David Nevue and Neil Patton created called “Clockwork.” What an amazing piece of music! It is on Nevue’s Winding Down album.
