Review by Kathy Parsons
If you are looking for some soothing, hypnotic solo piano music, I have the perfect single for you - Peter Calandra's "Acadian Nights"! Peter has been releasing at least two singles a month for almost a year, creating a wonderful collection of piano music that showcases his versatility as both a composer and a pianist as well as the expressive nature of his music. Peter is an artist who can truly do it all and do it all well.

At 6 1/2 minutes, "Acadian Nights" has time to evolve organically and without rushing. It begins very quietly with single notes moving around the middle of the piano keyboard, gradually moving outward and becoming more complex. The natural flow of the music feels very relaxed and improvisational as it builds in speed and intensity, maintaining an easy-going mood throughout. Magical!

"Acadian Nights" is available from Amazon, Apple/iTunes and streaming sites such as Spotify. Great stuff!
