Review by Kathy Parsons
"Clouds" is the fourth in a continuing series of solo piano singles by Peter Calandra. Peter is releasing two singles in the series per month, and I plan to review them all (lucky me!). One of the beauties of the series is that it very clearly demonstrates Peter's amazing versatility and ease with a wide variety of music styles and genres. That the singles are all solo piano is the proverbial icing on the cake! I should also mention that Peter took the photos that grace the artwork of several of these singles (including this one!), making the project an even more personal artistic expression.

"Clouds" really can't be categorized into any one genre (always a good thing, I think!). Sometimes very meditative, sometimes more of a slow jazz style, the freely-flowing tempo expresses the slow but steady movement of clouds as they move across the sky with ease and grace. Warm, relaxing, and very soothing, it's a beautiful break from the usually frazzled pace of life.

"Clouds" is available digitally from Amazon, Apple/iTunes and streaming sites such as Spotify. Very highly recommended!
