"Moonflower" is an elegant solo piano jazz piece by Peter Calandra, one of the most prolific and versatile pianist/composers on the planet. Sometimes stately and almost classical to a free-flowing improvisation, the easy pace of the music is beautifully illustrated with the cover artwork of four flowers coming to life on the surface of the moon, illuminated by reflected light from planet earth - strength, determination and beauty all rolled into one exceptional piano piece (as well as the artwork!).
