"Peaceful Valley" is a single from Peter Calandra that is quite different from most of his other releases. Fully orchestrated with no sign of a piano anywhere, the piece has a very cinematic soundtrack feeling that is both soothing and colorful. It brings images to my mind of an early-morning sunrise when the sky is full of pastel colors and there is a wonderful freshness in the air. Or it could be a rainbow appearing after a spring rainstorm. Or a sunset as the sun slips below the horizon. No matter what the music makes you think of, it is beautiful, serene and very calming - a little more than four minutes of blissful peace in this chaotic world.
