“Silent Mountains” is a beautifully expressive solo piano single from Italian pianist/composer/producer Raffaele Scoccia. Based in Trento, Italy, Raffaele started composing his own music as a teenager and has explored a wide range of musical styles. He has also collaborated with an international roster of artists under the name of “Moon Rocket.”

“Silent Mountains” was inspired by a winter day spent in the stillness of snow-covered mountains. Quoting the artist:

“The stillness of the mountains - broken only by distant, muted sounds - filled me with a deep sense of presence. With ‘Silent Mountains,’ I wanted to express that feeling of inner balance and quiet strength, and create a space where listeners can reconnect with themselves.”

The music isn’t overly-complicated, but flows from the heart with total honesty and sincerity that express so much more than a lot of flashy runs up and down the piano keyboard. I really love this piece and look forward to hearing more of Raffaele Scoccia’s music in the very-near future!
