“Lakeside Pastels” is a beautiful solo piano single by pianist/composer/piano teacher Suzanne Herman. The piece was inspired by a sunset on Lake McDonald in Glacier National Park in northern Montana (one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever seen!). It’s impossible to adequately describe the scene in words, so Suzanne chose to capture the experience in the much more eloquent language of music. Flowing, with an effortless melody and gentle feelings of motion, it’s a really beautiful piece of music!
