Grazioso is the companion sheet music book for Gerald Krampl’s 2025 solo piano album by the same name. As you probably know, “grazioso” is the Italian musical term for very graceful, and many of the eleven original pieces in the collection are just that. Inspired by nature, country life and the northern woodlands that are often home to hidden lakes with swans living on them, most of the pieces are quite short (three pages or less) and none of them are very difficult. Pianists (and piano students) at an upper-intermediate playing level should have no trouble learning this music. More advanced pianists will find the music to be very expressive and fun to play without needing to practice too much (and who doesn’t like having some music they can just sit down and play?). There is a very nice variety in the music - from graceful and serene to light and playful to rather dark and mysterious, so there is something for everyone and for every mood.
