The Relaxing & Romantic Piano, Vol. VII songbook is the companion sheet music book to the 2019 solo piano album by James Michael Stevens. All twenty-seven pieces from the album are included. As the title implies, the music is relaxing and romantic, so the pieces are fairly slow and all are beautifully melodic. All of the twenty-seven pieces are each three pages long and none are in difficult keys (see the list of titles, the keys they are in and the number of pages below.) Some of the harmonies are a bit more complex than others, but all of the pieces are a pleasure to play and easy to play very expressively. I would say that the playing level for the songbook ranges from intermediate to early-advanced.

This songbook is available only from SheetMusicPlus.com as a PDF download. I downloaded it to my iPad, and the notation is very clear and well-spaced. All of the pieces have metronome settings and chord charts. Dynamics and expression are thorough, and I didn’t see any notation mistakes. This is a really nice collection of piano solos!
