Pam Asberry's Amazing Grace songbook is the companion sheet music book to her 2021 solo piano recording by the same name. All eighteen hymns from the album are included, transcribed note-for-note to match the recording as closely as possible (Pam transcribed the songs and I proofed them, so I can say that with complete confidence!). Pam's arrangements of these hymns - most of them classics - are true to the originals with some updated stylizations, making them very suitable for church services as solos or as accompaniments for singers or other instrumentalists. They are all 2-4 pages long and none are difficult to play, so they are also very suitable for teaching pieces that more advanced students can easily grasp and those at an upper-intermediate playing level and above can perfect without frustration. (Pam is a long-time piano teacher and adjudicator herself.)

The printed songbooks are spiral-bound and include the beautiful cover artwork and graphics by Matt Strieby, an "About the Music" page, and an "About Pam" page. The notation itself is well-spaced, very clear and uncluttered. Metronome settings are included, and dynamics and other expression are also clearly marked.
