Review by Kathy Parsons
"Dancing Lights" is the companion sheet music for Suzanne Herman's 2022 solo piano single by the same name. Bright and lively, the music was inspired by watching the colored lights on Florida's Sunshine Skyway Bridge over Tampa Bay reflected in the water and appearing to "dance." The notes flow like ripples on the water, creating a colorful picture in sound. Written in the key of D Major (2 sharps), the sheet music should be fairly easy to master by pianists at an upper-intermediate/ early-advanced playing level. The timing is very straight-forward and there are no reaches of more than an octave. Suzanne is a longtime piano teacher herself, and her music is very suitable for students of all ages to learn for lessons and/or recitals. The piece is 5 1/2 pages long and the recording runs a little longer than three minutes. It's a beautiful piece and a lot of fun to play! (The recording is also reviewed on MainlyPiano.com.)

The "Dancing Lights" single and sheet music are available from Suzanne's website.
