"Heart's Reflection" is the companion sheet music for Suzanne Herman's 2025 solo piano single. Transcribed by the composer and proof-read by me, the sheet music matches the recording as closely as is possible. The tempo is moderately slow with a motif that weaves in and out of the piece, giving it an almost hypnotic effect. Composed in the key of D major (2 sharps), the sheet music is four pages in length. I would put it at an intermediate to upper-intermediate playing level, so it is very suitable for advancing piano students as well as for personal enjoyment. Fingering is clearly indicated, as is phrasing, and there are no reaches of more than an octave. Expressive and soothing, this piece is a lovely experience for the pianist to learn and to play as well as for anyone listening. I highly recommend it!
