"Somewhere in My Memory" is a digitally remastered solo piano single by Spanish composer/pianist Alejandro Clavijo. Released just in time for the holidays, this much-loved song comes from the 1990 film, Home Alone, and was Alejandro's first recording back in 2009. Alejandro's arrangement begins simply with a child-like innocence, building gradually and then returning to the simplicity of the beginning to close. Alejandro's use of reverb (or the damper pedal) gives the music a feeling of gentle other-worldliness and mystery. It's a really nice arrangement and would be a welcome addition to anyone's collection of contemporary Christmas music.
