"Acadia" is a fascinating electronic single from Peter Calandra. Peter has been releasing at least two singles a month for more than a year, many of them solo piano. A master of many genres and musical styles, each of Peter's releases is different from the others and a very pleasant surprise. "Acadia" is much more ambient than melodic and features a variety of digital instruments that include organ, strings, and a shimmering electronic effect that runs through the background of most of the piece. Although the music is mostly relaxing and on the quiet side, there are feelings of urgency and intensity that come to the surface from time to time, keeping the listener's attention from start to finish.
