Peter Calandra's series of solo piano singles (three so far with many more to come!) just keeps getting better and clearly indicates what an amazingly versatile and accomplished pianist/composer he is. I love piano blues and "Back Alley Blues" is a very good example of why. Laid-back and relaxed with plenty of attitude, this is pure music-making fun. The catch is that it is only convincing if you really know your instrument and feel totally at ease with letting the music flow, and Peter does it all seemingly effortlessly. "Back Alley Blues" is a great piece and will have you in the groove in no time! Very highly recommended!
