"If I Could" is a beautiful, poignant smooth jazz single by Peter Calandra. The piece was composed by Pat Metheny as a tribute to Wes Montgomery, and Peter's arrangement has his piano front and center throughout, subtly enhanced with strings, bass, and light percussion. Slow and graceful with a gentle swaying motion, the piece could easily be a romantic slow dance, a warm musical daydream, or simply a tranquil piano piece to get lost in for a short break from the stresses of the world.
